Calendrical. Julian. Sept1
(Calendrical v2.2.0)
Copy Markdown
Proleptic Julian calendar whose year begins on 1 September (the Byzantine year, used by the Byzantine Empire and in the Eastern Orthodox liturgical year).
The year begins four months before 1 January of the same number: year 1700 runs from 1 September 1699 to 31 August 1700, so September to December carry the number of the year to come. Months are counted from the new-year day: month 1 is September and month 12 August.
